Glen Cove Paving
FAQS
How can I be sure you are the right person for the job?
Good question. Contractors notoriously have a rep for being difficult to deal with… We are local, we are your neighbors, if we don’t do the job right, we’ll undoubtably face the consequences.
We provide all our estimates in writing, adhere to the timeframe and have a policy of not only satisfying the customer, but going above and beyond.
We only use the highest quality materials and our staff is dedicated to you, our most valuable asset, our customer.
What Experience Do You Have?
We’ve been in this business for many years… so of our crew claim to have ancestors that built the pyramids, though we can’t confirm that and we think it might have been the Ancient Aliens… But seriously, we are second and third generation masons having worked on commercial and residential projects and we’d be happy to review your project.
What guarantees to I have that the
job will be finished on time and on budget?
Another good question. As we all know, this is sometimes that isn’t adhered to with other contractors… but rest assured this aspect of the job is VERY important to us as well. We will give you both a verbal and written guarantee and timeframe for the project from start to finish.
Will There Be An Impact to My Yard?
Though we use heavy equipment to remove any damaged old cement work, blacktop and soil from the work area, we strive to leave a small footprint. We are always aware of our environment and will make sure there is no damage to your property- It will look better thank when we first arrived, trust us!
How long does it take before I can use my driveway?
Once the cracks and holes have been repaired, we will properly seal the entire driveway, bringing back that beautiful black luster. With this step it will need time to dry and sit for perhaps a few days. We often recommend to our customers to not use the area during this time so that we have the best results. If it is a driveway we are repairing, we recommend that you don’t park your cars on it for at least two days… But don’t worry Sea Cliffs neighbors… We’ll help you notify the Village, who often times gives will provide a special parking exception to park overnight while the repair is being done. See Village of Sea Cliff Parking Code for information about off street parking within the Village of Sea Cliff, NY.

Q: How often should I seal my driveway?
A: We recommend sealcoating every 2–3 years for residential driveways and annually for commercial lots with heavy traffic.

A: No. Cracks must be filled and potholes repaired before sealcoating. We offer hot rubberized crack filling and patching services as part of our prep process.
